Today I went for a softer, girlie look. It was such a nice summer day I wanted to wear what went with the mood of the day.

Something to Try (Featured)

Today I tried new 'Crackle Overcoat Nail Polish' by Sally Hansen. I saw it originally in my Seventeen Magazine when they were advertising it for OPI nail polish, (I just got the Sally Hansen one because it was cheaper). It's really cool and not hard to do. All you do is apply two coats of your favorite nail polish then you put a quick thick coat of the 'Crackle Overcoat Nail Polish' along with a finisher to make it shiny and your done! The overcoat dries really fast and crackles while it dries. Here are some pictures:

Today I wore a Sequin Top (you can't really see the sequins, sorry for that) from The LOFT, and my Shorts are from oldnavy.

Today I wore an aqua colored dress from Ann Taylor Loft which has recently been converted to the Loft. My belt has silver threads woven into it and is also from the loft. My shoes are from a boutique in Glen Ellyn named Fushia.

Hello readers! I am back and staying here! Like in my last posts I apologized for not doing any new posts lately, so I am sincerely sorry and it wont happen again! For today I wore a long black maxi dress but broke it up with a light pink belt. With this picture I kept it simple but depending on the weather or wherever you're going, you could add a cute cropped jean jacket or a sweater that works well with it. Today I wore a mix of feminine and masculine with a plaid shirt and a dark purple skirt. Mixing feminine and masculine is fairly easy, take a boyfriend jean jacket and put it over a fitted floral dress. You will see another example of this style in this weeks posts.

         Today I decided to go casual, with a purple tank top from Urban outfitters, I am disappointed because you can't really see the detail but it is kind of tie dyed and had a diagonal line of cut. I also have a black tank top under my purple one from forever 21. My shorts are tan and from Old Navy, and my belt is little and weaved of leather with a gold buckle. My necklace is from Claire's and is a silver tree.

Today I wore a favorite dress of mine, the denim is so soft and comfortable that I couldn't resist wearing it this lovely 70 degree day!


I wear this brown crossbody purse almost everyday, if are looking for a purse that can hold your stuff and also match with a lot of your clothes I reccomend this purse or one like it.

Hello readers! I am so sorry I haven't posted anything in over a week! Here is one of my outfits from a few days ago that I wore and I loved it! It follows my new "Three C's" rule where I must feel comfortable, cute, and confident in order for me to wear the ensemble! If you follow this rule, everyone will notice because if you aren't comfortable and don't feel cute and confident when wearing something, mostly likely you will look how you feel, awkward and stiff. I felt great in these clothes so hope this look inspires you! Here's what was included:

Hello Readers!


Today it was unusually warm so I decided to take advantage of the weather with a tank and a light skirt. For colder climates you could add tights and/or a sweater.


I have been scouring vintage stores for a necklace like the one I am wearing (shown in picture two) for some time, when I finally found this one I couldn't believe my luck!


For this post I am trying a suggestion from a friend of mine, she said that when I include an accessory to do a close-up picture of it. I hope it helps, enjoy!

Today I started out just wearing the tank and skirt with some tan booties(not shown in picture), but later on in the day I added the sweater. I have been really enjoying the oversized sweaters during this chilly start to spring.

Hello! Today I went for a casual look that was comfortable as well as cute. I wore pretty basic, darker toned colored clothes with pops of color in my sweater and belt. Here's what was included:
